skoool.ie wins Best Overall .ie Website for second year running at Esat BT Golden Spider Awards

The ESAT BT Golden Spider Awards, presented this year at the Burlington Hotel, Dublin, were set up seven years ago to recognise and reward excellence in the Irish Internet. This year twenty categories of awards were presented with the judging panel choosing from a shortlist of five nominees in each category.  The nominees were selected from thousands of Irish websites.

Against very strong competition skoool.ie was selected as Best Overall dot.ie Website for its usability, its aesthetics and above all, its exceptional content.

Peter Hamilton, the skoool.ie business manager, said, “I am absolutely delighted to have won the Best .ie Website Award at the Golden Spider Awards for the second year in succession.  This second award clearly shows skoool.ie to be a world-leading education site and confirms our position as the best Internet education service in Ireland.  We look forward to another great year providing Ireland's students and teachers with the best in online educational resources.”

This award will mean increased support and visibility for skoool.ie among teachers and students, and also among the leading companies in Ireland who are contributing to make skoool.ie available as a valuable supplement to the national education system.
